Wild Fauna (Wild flowers for us city folk)
Geneva always wants me to till an acre and throw down some "Wildflower" mix from Walmart or Lowes. I keep telling her that we have flowers galore and she only needs to stop and take a look. In the summer of 2004 I purchased a macro lens for my digital camera and went hog wild. A macro lens lets you get ALL UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL with things. I read a few articles and primers on macro photography and away I went. I must have looked like a weirdo to anyone looking at me from a far. I was wondering around aimlessly and then I would stop and get down on my hands and knees take a bunch of pictures.
All of the pictures you see here are of summer flowers on the property.
